Categories of graphite molds:
1. Two plate mold
Also known as a single parting die, it is the simplest injection mold, which divides the whole mold into two parts with the parting surface as the interface: dynamic die and fixed die. Part of the cavity is in the moving mold, and the other part is in the fixed mold. The main channel is in the fixed mold; The diverter is arranged on the parting surface, and after the mold is opened, the product and the flow path remain in the moving mold, and the moving mold part is provided with an ejecting system.
2. Three plate mold or fine water mouth mold
There are two parting surfaces that distribute three parts of the mold, which increases the gate plate compared with the two plates. It is suitable for occasions where there are no gate traces around the product. This kind of mold uses a point gate to distribute the mold, so it is called a fine water gate mold. Start the power with a sandbolt or pull plate.
Surface maintenance of graphite mold because it directly affects the surface quality of the product, the focus is to avoid rust, therefore, the selection of a suitable, high-quality, professional anti-rust oil is particularly important.
How to maintain the graphite mold to extend its life:
When the graphite mold completes the production task, the remaining injection molding should be carefully removed by different methods according to different injection molding, and the remaining injection molding and other sediments in the graphite mold can be removed by copper rod, copper wire and professional graphite mold cleaning agent, and then air dry. Do not clean iron wire, steel bars and other hard objects to avoid scratching the surface. If there are rust spots caused by corrosive injection molding, use a grinder to grind and polish, and spray professional anti-rust oil, and then place the mold in a monotonous, cool, dust-free place for storage.
