Good thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of graphite is 100-200 W/m·K, which can quickly transfer heat to the glass.
Good lubricity: The graphite surface has a certain lubricity, which can reduce the friction between the glass and the mold and prevent the glass from breaking during the hot bending process.
The manufacturing process of glass hot bending graphite mold is generally the following steps:
Preparation of graphite blank: according to the shape of the mold, the graphite powder is pressed into the blank.
Processing graphite blank: Using the method of mechanical processing, the graphite blank is processed into the shape of the mold.
Heat treatment: Heat treatment of the mold after processing to improve its performance.
The service life of the glass hot bending graphite mold is generally 2-3 years, and the specific life depends on the use environment and conditions.
