Advantages of graphite mold
Dec 25, 2023
The graphite mold is made by mixing graphite powder and binder, and is manufactured by forming, drying and sintering at high temperature. Graphite mold has the following characteristics and advantages:
High temperature stability: graphite has a high melting point and thermal conductivity, which can maintain stability in high temperature environment and is not easy to deformation or burn.
Good thermal conductivity: Graphite has excellent thermal conductivity and can conduct heat quickly and evenly, which is conducive to heat exchange during processing.
Low coefficient of friction: The graphite surface is smooth and has a low coefficient of friction, which enables the mold to achieve smoother movement during use.
Corrosion resistance: Graphite has good corrosion resistance to most chemical substances, and is not easy to be damaged when in contact with corrosive media such as acid and alkali.
Machinability: Graphite is relatively soft, easy to cut and process into a variety of complex shapes of molds, to meet different processing needs.
Graphite molds are widely used in many fields, such as casting, glass manufacturing, plastic processing and so on. They increase production efficiency, reduce costs, and have a long service life.
