1. Graphite mold for continuous casting and semi-continuous casting of non-ferrous metals: In recent years, advanced production methods such as direct (or semi-continuous) production of rods or pipes by molten metal conditions are being promoted at home and abroad. Copper, copper alloy, aluminum, aluminum alloy and other aspects have begun to choose this method. Artificial graphite is considered as the most suitable material for continuous casting or semi-continuous casting of non-ferrous metals. Production practice has proved that because of the choice of graphite mold, because of its excellent thermal conductivity (thermal conductivity determines the condensation rate of metal or alloy), the self-smoothing function of the mold and other factors, not only makes the casting speed travel, but also because the standard of the ingot is accurate, the appearance is smooth, and the crystallization organization is uniform, it can be directly processed in the next process. This not only greatly improved the yield, reduced waste, and product quality has also been greatly improved. There are two kinds of continuous casting methods: vertical continuous casting method and horizontal continuous casting method.
2. Pressure casting mold: Artificial graphite materials have been successfully used for pressure casting of non-ferrous metals. For example, zinc alloy and copper alloy castings produced by pressure casting molds made of artificial graphite materials have been used in automotive parts and other aspects.
3. Graphite mold for centrifugal casting: graphite mold has been successfully applied to centrifugal casting. The United States has selected an artificial graphite casting mold with a wall thickness of more than 25 mm to centrifugally cast bronze casing. In order to avoid the burning of artificial graphite mold, certain anti-oxidation methods can be used. After casting a certain number of castings, assuming that the inner surface of the mold is found burned, the standard of the hole in the mold can be extended to be used for casting large standard casing.
4. Hot pressing die: The artificial graphite hot pressing die for the pressurization of cemented carbide has the following characteristics: First, if the constrained temperature travels to 1350-1450 degrees, the required unit pressure can be reduced to 67-100 kg force/square centimeter (that is, 1/10 of the cold pressing pressure); Second, pressure and heating are carried out in the same process, and a fine sintered body can be obtained after a short time of sintering.
5. Glass molding mold: Because the graphite material has chemical stability, is not easy to be moistened by molten glass, will not change the composition of the glass, the graphite material has excellent heat-resistant impact function, and the standard changes with the temperature and other characteristics, so in recent years, it has become a limited mold information in glass production, and can be used to make glass tubes, bending tubes, funfunnel and other kinds of shaped glass bottles.
6. Sintering mold and other diamond sintering mold: The use of artificial graphite data thermal deformation is very small characteristics, can make transistor sintering mold and bracket, has been widely used, it has become the semiconductor industry is not short of information. In addition, graphite molds are also used in cast iron molds, durability molds for various non-ferrous metals, cast steel molds, heat-resistant metals (titanium, zirconium, molybdenum, etc.) molds and thermite welding molds for welding rails.
