The use of graphite plates

1) Refractory materials: In the smelting industry, graphite plates are used to make graphite crucible, to make protective agents for steel ingot, and to make magnesia carbon bricks for smelting furnace lining.

2) Conductive materials: In the electrical industry, graphite is widely used as electrode, brush, carbon tube and TV picture tube coating.

3) wear-resistant materials and lubricants: In many mechanical equipment, graphite plates are used as wear-resistant and lubricating materials, which can slide at a speed of 100m/s in the temperature range of -200 ~ 2000 ° C, without or with less lubricating oil.

4) Sealing material: Flexible graphite is used as piston ring gaskets and seals for centrifugal pumps, hydraulic turbines, steam turbines and equipment transporting corrosive media.

5) Corrosion-resistant materials: graphite plates are used as vessels, pipes and equipment, which can resist the corrosion of various corrosive gases and liquids, and are widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, hydrometallurgy and other departments.

6) Heat insulation, high temperature resistance, radiation protection materials: graphite plates can be used as neutron moderators in nuclear reactors and rocket nozzles, nose cones, aerospace equipment parts, heat insulation materials, radiation protection materials, etc.
